On behalf of all Members of the “Pan Arab Conference for Bleeding Disorders”, it is our great pleasure to welcome and invite you to attend the dedicated conference on bleeding disorders to be held on 30 January – 01 February 2019 at Alfaisal University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
This meeting is organized by King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in collaboration with the Pan Arab Society of Hematology. This is also in collaborations with various national, regional and international societies like World Federation of Hemophilia, Saudi Society of Hematology, Saudi Society for Blood Disorders, International Society of Hematology as well as other patient societies. Members from various Arab countries representing various societies have contributed to the scientific program.
The conference program will provide an innovative and comprehensive overview that will address the new developments and challenges in the current management of people with hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, rare factor deficiencies and inherited platelet disorders in the Arab region.
There will be a pre-conference workshops that will focus on development of skills and knowledge among various healthcare providers for patients with bleeding disorders which will fulfill the theme of this meeting on “New Horizons Toward Comprehensive Care”. In addition, there will be ample opportunities for all healthcare providers to build networks, share experience, and chance to meet colleagues in this field. It will be a great pleasure to join with physicians, nurses, allied health practitioners, scientists, and scholars from around the Arab world and our international speakers from around the globe.
This year, we had made arrangements for direct translation for all meeting sessions to Arabic language to enable our patients to attend and be educated about their disease and be engaged in discussions as well as provide them with venue for development of patient advocacy through a special pre-conference workshop.
The conference will be held in the fast moving capital of the Kingdom, which will enable
attendees to explore the old and modern Riyadh City.
We wish everyone a fruitful and fulfilling time during this conference. Your active participation will give an important boost to the success of this event.
